Germans crushed their Czech opponents by 5 points per player in the final match of Seniors Nations Cup 2008 in Predazzo, Italy. Austria 3 took bronze, by beating Germany 2 in play-off after a tied game in the bronze match.

Karl-Heinz Gerwert was by far the best player of the competition, and alone on green total score at the extremely difficult eternite and beton courses of Predazzo.

The best female player was Dagmar Hirschmannová of Czech Republic, with average score 27.50 on eternite and 32.50 on beton.
