German juniors played a blue team round on felt in the final match against Czech Republic at Juniors Nations Cup 2008 in Budapest, Hungary, taking gold with a clear margin.

Austria 1 beat Sweden 236 – 246 in the match for bronze medals.

The best player of the competition was Tobias Ramcke of Germany, with average score 31.67 on felt and 23.33 on eternite.

The best female player was Frida Elmdahl of Sweden, with average score 34.33 on felt and 23.83 on eternite.

The eternite course of Budapest proved to be very challenging. The most common colours on score board were red and black.
