Home field advantage was not enough to save Finland from a 2–1 defeat to Russia in the second eternite round of Nations Cup 2008.

In group B, team Finland 2 lost to Russia 2 114 – 113, and in group A team Finland 3 lost to Russia 1 116 – 114. Team Finland 1 kept the Russians far behind, however, with the round score 100 points for four players.

In the total scores for all played rounds, all Finnish teams are quite safely ahead of Russian teams.
